Scoring Rules
Earn points by predicting match scores and tournament outcomes. Here's exactly how every point is awarded.
Match predictions
Every match is scored on a sliding scale — the closer your prediction, the more points you earn.
Exact score
You nailed the final score exactly — e.g. you predicted 2–1 and it finished 2–1.
Correct goal difference
Right winner and right margin, but not the exact score — e.g. you said 2–1 and it finished 3–2.
Correct outcome
Right winner, or correctly called a draw, but the margin was off.
Miss
Wrong outcome — no points awarded.
Bonus picks
Long-range calls you make before the action starts.
Favorite team
3 points for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss — every match your team plays.
Tournament champion
Awarded if you pick the team that lifts the trophy.
Group winner
Earned for every group whose top team you predict correctly.
Daily Quiz
A quick way to earn an extra point every day.
Perfect quiz round
Answer all 10 football questions correctly in the daily quiz to earn 1 point. One game per day.
When predictions lock
Match predictions lock at kickoff. Group-winner picks lock at that group's first kickoff, and your champion pick locks when the tournament begins. Once a final result is entered, every prediction is re-scored automatically.
Tie-breakers
If two players finish level on points, the one with more exact-score hits ranks higher.
